Phlebotomy

  • Collect 1 x 2.7ml Citrate (Blue Cap) or 1 x 1.8ml Citrate (Light Blue Cap).
  • Paediatric: 1 x 1.0ml Citrate microtainer.

    Transport

  • Write DDV on the bottom of the Barcode.
  • Hand deliver transparent/clear top Citrate tubes to Coagulation section - DO NOT PLACE ON 8100.
