Tubes must be filled up to the ""Fill Line".

Collection Instruction :
This test must be Pre-approved by on-call Haematologist.
This test can be performed during heparin therapy (up to 1 IU/mL) or once stabilised on warfarin.
The presence of aprotinin in the plasma may lead to a false positive result.
Please indicate on the form if patient is receiving Direct Anticoagulant therapy.

Laboratory instruction:
Give copy of form and Specimens to Haematology.
If an SST tube is supplied for Cardiolipin - Put this in ns Biochem freezer as per usual - but DO NOT REGISTER.
Haematology will register/add any test once the on-call haematologist has approved.
Also for stillborn profile, miscarriage and gynaecology requests.
