Transport

Prompt deliver to the laboratory is required (ideally within 6 hours from time of micturition). If that cannot be achieved, refrigeration to 4oC before and during transport is recommended. For 24hr urine collect, it should be delivered to the laboratory within 6 hours from end of the 24hr urine collection.
