A brief clinical history is essential.

Store and transport frozen.

Urine, random, send to lab on ice and freeze on arrival in the lab. Please note time of collection and time of freezing the urine sample on request form.

Patients with short stature, developmental delay and congenital heart defects warrant testing for urine polyols.

Turnaround Time: Between 6 to 8 weeks.
