Collection instructions:
Glycosylated ferritin test is now available at Middlemore Hospital Laboratory. Glycosylated ferritin test will NOT be offered unless total ferritin is > 200 µg/L

Laboratory instruction:
Spin and Separate specimen to Middlemore Hospital Lab at 4°C if receipt time is anticipated to be within 1 week; otherwise freeze specimen at -20°C and send it frozen.
Specimen Reception : Edit the test to go to Middlemore hospital Laboratory before doing the test referral, Otherwise, it wont work.
