Urgent specimens - Please make sure Awanui Labs courier is contacted the same day of the specimen arrival.
Waitakere:
1. Do not register
2. 0700 – 2200 hours send bottles to Awanui by Awanui courier by calling 1-09-574 7399 Option 2 mention blood culture pick up
3. 2200 – 0700 hours leave bottles on bench by registration PC (by the window). Arrange Awanui courier* for pick up at 7am.
4. Please email the request form and inform Awanui Labs to expect the bottles to perform sub-culture:

5. Please place the blood culture bottles inside the Labtests container on information desk in the main entrance.
North Shore:
1. Do not register
2. 0700 – 2200 hours send bottles to Awanui by Awanui Courier* (1100 and 1500 pick up on weekdays).
3. 2200 – 0700 hours leave bottles on sendaway bench. Arrange Awanui courier* for pick up at 7am. Awanui courier by calling 1-09-574 7399 Option 2 mention blood culture pick up
4. Please email the request form and inform Awanui Labs to expect the bottles to perform sub-culture:
