Label citrate tubes in order of draw. Send sample to the laboratory within 2 hours of collection.

Minimum volume:
Adult : 2.7 mL
Paediatric : 1.0 mL

Process as usual. Give samples and copy of form to Coagulation.

Store and transport citrate samples FROZEN.

Register with a dedicated lab number.
