Collection instructions:
Must be a dedicated tube.
Do NOT use Heparin or Serum tubes.

Laboratory instruction:
- Pediatric EDTA (microtube - 2 mL) : WHOLE BLOOD. Store and transport at 4'C (if stored and transported at RT only up to 36 hours)
- Adult EDTA : Within 36 hours of collection: Send EDTA whole blood
Greater than 36 hours of collection: Centrifuge and separate plasma in sterile tubes and transport at 4'C.
Greater than 6 days from collection:Store plasma and transport frozen
