Collection instructions:
NB A serum sample (red top) must also be sent along with the ear or nasal fluid

Laboratory instruction:
0.5ml nasal or ear secretions in strile container , 1x SST (Apricot) (Preferred) or Plain (Red) (spin and separate).
Label both PLAIN and other fluid specimen with same number. Both must be sent to LabPlus at the same time.
