Sample should come with LabPlus Request Form “Combined/Maternal Serum Screening Lab Form”.
Send this form with sample to LabPlus

SPIN and separate.
Store and transport at 4’C.

At weekends, or if more than 12 hrs between collect and receipt at LabPlus, ALIQUOT and FREEZE.

LabPlus will not accept frozen SST tube.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
1st or 2nd trimester tests.
1st trimester (9 – 14 wks) tests: pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A) & ß-hcg.
2nd trimester (14 – 18 wks) tests: ß-hcg, AFP, unconjugated oestriol (uE3) and inhibin A.
