Sample Stability

Slides are prepared and fixed on the day of collection. Fixed slides can be stained within 1 year of collection. Once stained, the films should be stable for at least 1 year.

Turnaround Time

2 weeks

If mass spectrometry is required for confirmation, the sample will be sent to the University of Auckland. Mass spectrometry costs $1,100 and funding needs to be agreed upon prior to sample acceptance.
