Collection instruction:
If the test needs approval from both an immunopathologist at LabPlus and a NZBS transfusion medicine specialist, the requesting doctor must complete the Lifeblood form (form can be downloaded from the Lifeblood - Brisbane link on LabPlus website) and include the requesting doctors contact details on the request form so that laboratory staff can contact them. All requests will require undetectable IgA and history of a previous relevant reaction.
