Pre-testing Requirements

IgA levels. All requests will require undetectable IgA.

This test is vetted by an Immunopathologist at LabPlus and a NZBS transfusion medicine specialist.
If the test is approved, the requesting doctor must complete the Lifeblood form from the Resources section and include their contact details on the request form so laboratory staff can contact them.

Additional Specimen Information

If the test is vetted yes, the lifeblood form in the resources section must be completed. Ensure the request form includes the requestor's contact details so that the Lifeblood Form can be sent to the requestor if the test is required.
