Pre-testing Requirements
In addition to this assay being performed as a requested test, it will also be performed as a reflex test in the setting of a first-time AChR antibody negative result. As per laboratory protocol, unless otherwise discussed with Immunopathology, patients positive for AChR antibodies will not be tested for MuSK antibodies.
