Minimum Volume:
2 x 2.7 mL Citrate tube (Light blue top). Tube must be filled up to the "Fill Line"
3 x 1.8 ml Citrate tubes (Light blue top) filled up to the "Fill Line"
Collection instructions:
This test must be Pre-approved by on-call Haematologist.
Please indicate on the laboratory form if the patient is receiving Direct Anticoagulant therapy.
Laboratory instruction:
Must be Pre-approved by on-call Haematologist. Register for NCOA only. Give copy of form and Specimens to Haematology. Do not register any other Coag test.
If an SST tube is supplied for Cardiolipin - Put this in ns Biochem freezer as per usual - but DO NOT REGISTER.
Haematology will register/add any test once the on-call haematologist has approved.
