Specimen Collection:
4 mL EDTA Blood collected and delivered on ice.
Request form must contain patient's weight, dose amount and time, specimen collection time.
These requests are transported to NSW Pathology for testing. Refer to link.
Laboratory notes:
Spin at 4 degrees, separate and freeze EDTA plasma within 1 hour.
