• UTM Kit Flocked Swab - Viral
• CPD (Yellow Top Tube)

Minimum Volume:
EDTA : 4 mL
CPD : 5 mL
CSF : 2 mL

Collection instructions:
Blood is NOT an appropriate specimen for the majority of clinical problems.
The Clinical Virologist at LabPLUS MUST be contacted BEFORE requesting VZV PCR on blood.

Laboratory instruction:
EDTA / CPD Tube must NOT be opened

CSF requests - refer to Micro staff for coding.

Collection site required for Swab
