10 mL Urine, casual pottle preferred. A brief clinical history is essential. Paediatric specimens, minimum volume 2 mL.
Transport
Urines should be kept cold and frozen if not sent to the laboratory within 4 hours. External laboratories should store and transport frozen to avoid bacterial contamination.
