Phlebotomy

All samples will be sent to Haematology for a Red Cell Count.
If FBC required, please send a separate EDTA sample.

Registration

If 6-Thiopurine Methyltransferase is requested, register as "TPMT" (Thiopurine Methyltransferase) - see separate entry in test guide.

Separating

If only one sample received, DO NOT spin.
Sample is labelled with suffix. Load onto the 8100.
Sample will be sent to Haem for the MFBC or FBC to be done. TGN will then be processed in Chrom.
